How can I remove the dummy grills where the fog lights would be? I'd like to fit DRLs. Car is a 2013 1.2 TSI Estate.

Are you going to get the DRL's working? Or just have them as dummy ones?

I'm planning to fit Osram or Philips LEDs but it will be easier if they're off the car.

Thanks for that. I hadn't even noticed the removable sections of the lower grill as shown on the video.

Jeeeees! Thats just shown how easy it is for a scally to nick your drl/fog's!

 

I would have thought of getting the matching plug connector too, after wasting money buying new louder horns and going through the process of fitting them... Bit of a bodge job there, although in fairness, I've seen much worse! If I'd have paid someone to fit them, i would have refused to pay!

You dont need to remove grills to get the lamp out, just use some old credit card, and fit it between, then holder unclicks and lamp is out. Changed my DRL's in 10 sec for every lamp.
