Hello, this is my 1st time posting an issue on this forum. I have a problem, with turn signal switch. When I turn the switch to turn right, the switch signals me with turning left. Also, when I signal to turn left, it doesn't work. My Octy is 1.9 TDI, '06. Thank you in advance!

A common complaint on the MkII Octavia.

 

The switch / stalk is faulty.

 

Some people have been successful by removing the stalk and cleaning the electrical contacts inside the stalk.

 

Others have had to replace the stalk with a new one.
