My fabia Vrs is booked in for service I asked for fully synthetic oil i am told VW50501 as supplied by skoda is fully synthetic Is that correct.

I dont know the answer, but surely you shouldnt post the same thing twice.

I believe the Skoda-branded oil is fully-synthetic.

A search for 'fabia oil' or for 'oilman' will give lots of info (and cheaper sources of supply!)
