Tbh. I turn them all way down at night along with the footwell lights off. 

Too distracting. 

It'd be nice to be able to have them dim with the darkness automatically

I have the led plus package on my 2018 L&K. I was wondering are the footwell lights just a regular white leds without the option to change the color? It would have been nice if the footwell lights changes the color with the other led stripes in the cabin.

I fear they’re standard white LED on MY18. Maybe it changed with FL versions. I let FL owners confirm.
