Lose the fussy corporate VW grille, add some less extreme tyres and I would like it a lot especially as it's in my favourite colour!

 

As said though, hybrids just don't stack up financially at the moment.

 

I rarely do any city driving and so I'm perfectly happy sticking with my petrol and diesels for the foreseeable future.

...Coincidently an article on page 4 reports that from March the government is cutting the grants available for electric vehicles and hybrids (the example is given of a Prius where the grant will reduce from £5000 to £2500). ...

I always thought the bureaucracy of a "grant" was a stupid idea. Simply reduce VAT to 5% for electric-powered vehicles!
