the first one i guess is a little bit bigger but is the diffrence enough to feel any more power ???

or if you know another tip / hose from turbo to maf feel free to link them up

best regards

The SFS one is the one you want. I had a standard intake pipe with a bigger Neuspeed metal elbow between the rubber pipe and the turbo and even then the SFS oversized pipe is still massive compared to it.

okeej thanks for your answer man did you feel any diffrence in power when you installed the sfs induction hose

SFS always, hard to say how much difference it made to mine as I fitted a few other bits at the same time.

I'm the same as andy68. I fitted a tonne of other stuff at the same time so I can't say what improvement the fat intake pipe made by itself.

okeej what parts have you changed on your car ??

mine has an upgrade turbo bigger injectors 3inch downpipe 200 cell race cat and 2,5 inch exhaust efter the cat boost at 1,2 bar at the moment

Changed too many bits and spent far too much money, KO3S(til it goes pop), TBE, TIP, FMIC, cone filter, BAM injectors and new fuel pump to go on then get it mapped, current injectors close to max duty cycle and pump tired.

Mine's about the same really: R-tech/Pipercross air filter, SFS supersize intake pipe, standard K03S turbo, THS intercooler, ported standard manifold, stiffer 10 psi actuator, 3" decat downpipe into 2.75" Magnex system, 007P, BAM injectors, standard 3 bar regulator, Sytec pump.

okeej how much power do you think you will get out of it ???

It did hit 293lbft at one point, but this is the best bhp it made. I've left it alone for now as it is plenty of power for me, especially in winter.

okeej nice  how much boost are you running ??

You can see from the graph. It peaks at 1.5 bar and holds 1 bar until the redline, although it's a little less than 1 bar at the very top as it made no difference in power with a standard K03S turbo.

aah okeej i think mine just makes 1,2bar at the moment  but will do a better mapping when the snow is gone and i have some  grip in the tyres

i have an upgrade turbo thats made from an original k03s it has bigger compressor and other design on the impeller blades and bigger air channels inside its supposed to be suitable for 260hp

Mankee, what actuator are you running as i am looking to upgrade mine but I have herd some bad things about upgrading the actuator.

It's a Beach Buggy Turbos 10psi job. Works fine (car made 217bhp/228lbft on actuator pressure alone, with N75 disconnected), but it really needs careful mapping and very little preload when used with a standard K03S turbo. It's better suited for bigger turbos. If I was to do it again, I'd fit a new standard-spec actuator from BBT. But right now, I don't see the need to remove the uprated actuator to replace it with a standard one, now that it is set up properly to be less on-off.

thanks for that mankee, herd a few things about BBT. Guna need to look into them.
