front wiper and rain sensor

Featured Replies

Has anyone else experienced weird wiper behaviour? I'm not sure if its rain sensor related.

On intermittent wipe, no matter what speed I set it to, it appears to have a life of its own, presumably dependent on the amount of rain over the rain sensor. Even the slowest setting, it can suddenly decide to go quicker than the normal wiper speed, and there's hardly any rainfall at the time.

Any thoughts?

Useless. But then they have been on any other car with them. What's wrong with a variable intermittent setting?!!

At this time of year like you on the M1 and M6 mine also have a mind of their own. But it has been drizzling lot lately.
