New Roomster

Featured Replies

Hi

I just picked up a roomster today. It's a Black Edition. It's a fine vehicle and after a decent run I'm really impressed. The car I had before was a Fabia 2 vrs although I had a 1.4tdi roomster in the past. Looking forward to doing some miles in this car.

cheers

Hi Hooter,

Welcome back into the Roomster section!

Which engine is fitted?

You could also now change the Car: bit in your Profile!

Hi Richard

It has the 1.2TSI engine. Seems smooth and quiet. I'm pleasantly surprised such a small engine pulls so well.

Hi Hooter,  Welcome back!

My previous Roomster was a diesel as well.  I changed to petrol only because I needed DSG (old knee injury).

I think the 1.2TSI is a cracker, for all the reasons you have stated.  It makes the 1.9TDI seem agricultural.

I'm picking my new Roomster Black Edition up at the weekend - 2014 plate and 9,000 miles.  Looking forward to it after 10 years of a Ford C-Max and old (2002) Fabia owner.

The only thing it is missing is Bluetooth - it has a Amundsen DAB radio/sat nav system as standard.  Does anyone know if it is possible to retro-fit a Bluetooth system so I can make calls and (importantly) stream music?

Thanks,

Jo
