OBD2 tuning 2014 Superb 140 BHP DSG fwd

Featured Replies

Hello. I have plans to tune my car. I've looked at BSR tuning and Bluefin. BSR tuning gives me 191 bhp and 431 Nm. Blufin gives me 171 bhp and 378 Nm. Is there anyone here who knows how much DSG gearbox and chassis can withstand? If it is safe to tune the car to 191 bhp and 431 Nm, I will of course choose BSR tuning. They also provide guarantee for engine and transmission fault.

Welcome to the forum.

Do you mean that they provide a Guarantee / Warranty for work they do and against a mechanical fault with the Engine & Gearbox?

They have some form of Insurance, and provide you with cover against claims, and they foot the bill.!

If so then they know the limits of it or how can they Guarantee anything?

Or it it their work on the ECU they Guarantee and anything that goes wrong Mechanically has no Guarantee.

They have a insurance that cover any fault that happens because of the tuning. So if the gearbox og the engine breakdown because of BSR tuning a insurance company will cower the cost to repair it. To increase nm with 100 nm or more sound risky. Does not help with insurance or guarantee if i am without a car for a longer period. But I see there are several tuning companys that increase nm to 400-420, but BSR increases by at least 13 nm more than any other tuning company I've found.
