greenline tyres

Featured Replies

Does anyone know or know where I can find out what tyres came on the greenline ie manufacture n low rolling resistance type also would like to know the speed and weight rating (it's for my 2012 estate elagence) thanks

I just checked out Autotrader.

This Greenline has done only 745 miles so it is safe to assume that these are the factory fitted tyres:

Continental ContiPremiumContact 2E.

205/55 R16.

I then checked out Continentals website to see what speed and load ratings were available, quite a few as it happens...

I can't be 100% sure but I was on the understanding all Superb's were on the extra load tyres (XL) regardless of size. If this is the case then there is only one ContiPremiumContact 2 tyre in 205/55 R16 that is XL rated.

It is a 94V XL.

I would go with either Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance or Dunlop BlueResponse Blue. Both getting excellent reviews and ratings.

My Greenline Elegance Twindoor 12 plate was/is fitted with Continental Premium Contact 2E tyres when new.

Car has done 100k miles and the rears have yet to be changed!

Lol at the avatar change! Reckon those rears are good for another 20k. Mr B would be proud!

Mine hasn't got extra load tyre's, think they are 91H

Mine are 91H

Standard load rating but higher pressures I think.

My Greenline came from new with the Continental ContiPremiumContact 2E.  I gave up on them after about a year as I had three tyres develop bulges due to internal cord failure. This is the first tyre that I have ever had this problem on in about a million miles of gentle driving, so I lost faith in them for being so fragile.  Changed to the Efficient grip performance which is a nice tyre that is quiet and grippy and seem more robust.  They are not as eco friendly though as I am getting slightly lower mpg than with the Conti's

The tyres on my Greenline are Mitchlin primacy 3's, very quite tyre and seem to handle the road well.

I'm normally a Uniroyal Rainsport 3 fan, or Dunlop BluResponce
