bolero wiring - mono bluetooth, bought loom - how to install?

Featured Replies

I have a 2009 Superb.

I have the VW Bluetooth - but music only streams out of the right channel.

I bought the "stereo" loom and am trying to install it.

I can take out the stereo and replace the "big" cable.. however the smaller cable (highlighted in red) disappears down the hole ... does anyone know where that goes to and how i get to it?

I *think* i am meant to plug this smaller cable into the Bluetooth module - some people have it under the seat.

However under my drivers seat there is this module, which I think is the seat memory module :( --

Bluetooth module factory location is under the seat, but attached to the floor under a plastic cover, not attached the seat.

If your bluetooth module was retrofitted, sometimes they put it behind the climatronic panel.  Theres a fair bit of spare room there.  Pop off the clima panel (4 screws) and have a peek.

The audio streaming issue suggests it is a retrofit or the original more basic unit has been swapped. Move the seat back as far as it will go and you should see the plastic cover right there. If there is no cover then its likely to be behind the climate control module which will make the cable swap easier.

thanks for the thoughts..

it was actually behind the climate control.. i put the new cable in and now i have stereo music... unfortunately the mic stopped working so i'll have to open it up again!

for the mic, it actually goes into the columbus/RNS510 and then out again to the bluetooth.  In case you wonder why the wiring is so odd.

Do you have details that how to do it (include part number of the wire)?

My Superb has same problem (single channel bluetooth streaming).
