Potential Citigo Purchase

Featured Replies

Hello CitiGoers, I'm looking at buying a CitiGo...

Budget is up to 5k so obviously I'll be delving into the 2nd hand market (unless I find a ridiculously good PCP deal).  Are cars in this price bracket worth having?  Are there things I should be looking out for?

Additionally, it'll be the 5-door variant I go for since we have 2 very young kids (2 & 0).  Does anyone have any experience of putting Maxi-Cosi Family Fix bases in a Citigo? (i.e. do they fit).

Cheers :sun:

Skoda have an event on until 25/01.

My son has just had a pre-registered 65 plate for a lower monthly payment than a £5000 one.

APR is 7% lower on the pre-registered

Definitely interested in one of the pre reg deals, I've heard there are a few kicking about at the moment. I'll approach some dealers and ask the question.

Are pre registered cars available on the national network or are they dealer-specific?

I'm not sure, I've bought 3 cars from this particular agent, so they do tend to look after me

There's another thread in the Citigo section and someone has sourced a pre registered from the uk site I believe

I would really want to try out two car seats in the back of a Citigo before committing. There is no way I could get one behind me in my Citigo as I have the seat all the way back!

Hence why I'm now getting a Fabia to cater for the two young ones in the back!

There are plenty on Autotrader.... That's where I found my son's Sport :nerd:  Even though I got his from a Seat dealer, we got a good finance plan over 3 years.

We found one at Progress Skoda, like the one in the first link but white, and bought it. Due to pick it up this weekend. Spoke to a really nice guy called Phil who put my wife's mind at ease about a pre registered car. Obviously you don't get the 0% finance but for a 1 month old car with 10 miles on the clock, it is a massive saving. He had 3 white ones when I called him on Monday morning and we got the last one that afternoon.

Due to pick up my 5 door 65 plate Pre registered Citigo Black edition (White) today, from my local Progress Skoda, 7 miles on the clock.

They had loads last week, now only 2 left.

Cracking value IMO.

Do you mind me asking what the repayment figures are?  Assuming it's on a PCP...

I bought mine cash, but I believe it was available from £99 a month.

Great car btw, really like it already :)

Ours is £103 a month over 42 months and we didn't put a penny down. The loyalty discount helped (£500), and they knocked another £1000 off the list price too.

We plan to keep it and chop the Octy in.

Managed to get a pre-registered 65 plate. Still all the shipping protection, never driven black edition in white. £700 down @£89 p/m over 40 months

Picked up the White 3 door black edition from Progress Skoda. Painless transaction, Phil was great-very professional and thorough. Got 500 miles on the clock after the drive home! Well impressed with the car. Pretty quiet on the motorway-obviously not silly speeds, handling and comfort are much better than expected. It would make a wicked hot hatch with a faster engine.

They still had a few pre registered cars available this morning but the place was busy when we left.

There are two Black Editions for sale at Progress Skoda on the Skoda used cars web site but says both cars are not available until the 18/3/16?.

Go onto their own website or call direct.
