Fabia Voice Control

Featured Replies

Quick question - Thinking of seeing if I can add voice control to my order (£30). But what can you actually control and is it any good?

Thanks all [emoji3]

£30?

If the microphone and all the hardware is there, cant it just be activated via VCDS anyway?

Yup just £30 - true probably could be, but I don't know if they are and if it's actually any good!

£30 is roughly what theyd charge for something, when they dont have to do anything haha.

i have it on my octavia, quite useful when moving i find.

well worth £30

Voice control has moved on leaps and bounds imo.

Mine works a treat.. but its a £750 headunit and isnt Skoda. So i cant comment on Skoda systems.

Thanks all, as it's only £30 I have dropped my dealer an email to see if it can be added to the order. If it's cant be its not a huge loss, but it would be nice to have!

I have it in the Citigo at the moment via the PID and it is useful when it understands me....but I think that's more down to the PID/Garmin software than anything else!

If the dealer says no, i wouldnt worry too much.

Visit a nearby guy with VCDS and see if you can add it that way :)

What can it control?

What can it control?

'Call Dave'

without taking any hands off the steering wheel (if its a MFSW anyway) and you can be straight on the phone.
