Hi all.

Darkside have told me i have a 02q gearbox in my 2006 vrs diesel so i need 02q fitment clutch etc.

Looking on the box my flywheel came in last year it has 2294 003 341 which appears to be for a 02m.

Would it even fit if it was for an 02m?

I cant just whip it off to find out and need to order clutch plates for replacement.

6 speed manual in mine is an 02Q, 100%

spoken to darkside and they said it was an 02q aswell.

Ive also checked Sachs website and asked them directly and they quoted a different model number for the flywheel for my car.

 

Looks like I was sold the wrong part (although they are adament all mk2 octavia's use the same dmf). Reading reviews of this place I have huge doubts on everything they say tbh

If you can, convert it to a single mass flywheel - they're loads better. I've just had to replace my clutch after my (stage 4 race!) south bend clutch randomly desided to give up the ghost on Xmas eve.

Tried that. Ruined the car, it was awful.

Looking at uprated clutches but my god they are expensive. A full kit inc flywheel from darkside is £930!
