Just fitted garret gt1749va to my car but finding it hard to start and when turning of the car the engine feels it's taking a spasm when Turing off the last turbo gave way and left metal shavings in the air box and intercooler pipes do use think that my engine is scrap?

I assume you cleaned all the pipes and intercoolers out?

Will is start with the turbo hose disconnected at the inlet manifold?

I take it the anti shudder valve is connected and working?

There a split on the intercooler pipe going on the turbo that wouldn't cause it to have starting problems would it ?
