Cut out while coasting/idling

Featured Replies

Hi All,

As you know I have this ongoing power loss problem on my car. This morning while I was coasting down hill in traffic the car did its power loss/relay under the dash click thing and the engine stopped. No CEL or any problems restarting it. It just stalled itself.

I am thinking the click is the fuel pump relay either faulty or being told to stop.

Does anyone have an insight?

Sounds like a scan with VCDS is a good start

No errors.

Historically I have had Engine Speed Sensor (G28) this was replaced a year ago, and also cam shaft senasor, also replaced. I did have a lambda sensor error too recently but that was after a non start occurrence which I know causes problems.
