wind door potential damage

Featured Replies

due to the high wind we have been experiencing my door blow fully open when it was 80%open position. the door looks ok and feels ok, does any one know if there is a spring on the door tie that would have absorbed any shock.

I am paranoid about it as its the only new car i have ever owned and want it to be perfect and am woried it may have been bent.

hope someone can help

If it shuts ok, the shutline is the same I.e. The door isn't drooping and you can't see any creasing around the hinges and the retaining strap isn't bent then it's ok.
