For those of you who have upgraded from the Bolero to Columbus or Amundsen (if that's possible), have you considered upgrading the mapping ?

If there's a thread for updating it I couldn't find it - I did look but couldn't find one.

Is there any benefit as the road layouts haven't changed that much or many more speed or traffic cams added - I think - but I could be wrong here.

Columbus  and Amundsen Plus mapping comes out once a year or so, and includes roads updates as and when they get built, albeit a year or so behind. Have you bought and installed a unit yet, because the mapping could well be up to date anyway.

That's expensive.

That's expensive.

How much should they be then? I don't know what the going rate is but at my dealer it was 198.00 eur

There's genuine cards on Ebay for about the same price, without the possibility of sending hard earned off to some random in far away land who might not send you a clone card in return.

eBay could also be cloned cars tho. And I can't find who actually makes the maps to search on ebay for them properly.

The seller clearly states they're dealer supplied genuine cards, and they're based in the UK and selling on Ebay. If they send a cloned card then you get your money back, unlike others who are clearly selling clones and might not even send them once they have your money. It's up to you though where you buy, but if you're going to buy genuine then £80 delivered is cheap, while if you're going to buy knock offs then €100 is expensive.

What should I search in ebay then? RNS 315 maps doesn't bring up a lot and the rest I can see appear to be for the RNS 310 (which as I understand, doesn't accept the same maps). Other problem might be that they only ship to the UK.
