I have an Octavia 1.9 tdi year is 2000
how will I know if my can has Remote Keyless Entry
the 2 keys I got with the car uses the keyhole on the car
wastes time in bad weather lol
which keyfobs would I need for my car as well (unsure if there is different transponders for it)

For remote central locking (not really keyless entry) you would need a new convienance control unit and a pair of keys. Probably more than the car is worth realistically. Could go with a cheap aftermarket RCL kit and just fit a solenoid in the drivers door.
