welcome from a newbie, a couple of queries please ?

 

1. Service isn't due for another 5,000 Miles plus, how can I reset please?

 

2. Crusie control, would like to get retro fitted, live in Southampton, prepared to travel and would like Cruise Control. Is this the unit I need? :- 

OEM Original 2014 Skoda Octavia Cruise Control System CCS Stalk+Multifunction Steering Wheel Module 5Q0 953 507AL

Also anyone local (Hampshire ore near) prepared to fit it for me, I don't want to pay Main dealer prices, ouch.

Hi Rob, I can't comment on the cruise control but to reset the service indicator I'm sure with the ignition off you press in and hold the trip meter button then whilst continuing to press in turn the ignition on and the service display counter resets

This thread should probably be moved in to one of the Octavia sections.

For the cruise control it depends which car you have and what modules it already has.

If you have a mk2 fl from 2012 as your profile suggests the parts you mentioned are too new.

About service reset. If you got Maxidot (built in information system) then you should do it there. Just navigate through all the menus and you'll see plenty of wonderful features (including service reset).

If you haven't it then do as Labman said.
