When I put down in my mk1 vrs that's all I can smell if my heater is blowing warm... I do loose a little coolant, wondered if it's that what is getting into heater matrix? Any advice or sulution to fix?

Check the joints on the bulkhead where the pipes go into the heater matrix, failing that it's a new matrix.

If its when your putting your foot down, are you sure your clutch is not slipping.
