Lighting for switches on doors

Featured Replies

As any Citigo owner will know Skoda decided that none of the switches on the doors are illuminated with or without your exterior lights being on.

Has anyone else found an upgrade or part that enables you to have these lit?

Thanks

Yeah, you can retrofit parts from other cars, but, I think the only chance you'll have of having them light up is having them with red illumination as finding parts for a Skoda aren't the easiest of things if you want something specific, you might be able to change the LED's in them, depending on how steady handed you are with a soldering Iron I guess, 1 thing I do know, is a Polo 6R Mirror switch WILL fit the Citigo, straight plug and play, however you will need an additional wire to make it light up (where it'd connect to though I don't know, I guess to the headlight switch like you do with the W8 Interior light) here's a couple of links to get you started

I do not know for sure if the window switches will fit, I haven't experimented much with switches but I have swapped my mirror switch for a MK5 Polo 6R switch, generally you'll find that VAG parts from other models will be a direct plug and play
