Where can i buy auto-dimming rear view mirror for Octavia RS?

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me where i can buy auto-dimming (electochromatic) rear view mirror for my skoda octavia RS? Online seller would be prefered as i do not live inEurope. Or any retailer in UK would be my second choice.

Oh and by the way this is for the old model Octavia RS.

I assume you are aware of the fitting procedure for this?

Try EBay - its the same part as a MK4 VW Golf.

Thanks goochie,

Unfortunately i'm in India and the Golf is not in India, so it's hard to get hold of the part number. Can u give me the part number of the golf mirror.

As for fitment i'll have the mehcanic at the dealership do it for me cost me 200 rupees (1.5 pounds) ....so that's no problem :)

Fitting is alot more involved than you'd expect, I'll be fitting one sometime soon so keep an eye on the journal section.

The mirror is made by Donnelly for VW. Gentex also do some good aftermarket items such as ones that also feature a compass like the one in the Audi allroad that I believe vagparts sell.

I'll post up the VW part no. for the Golf item later.

Part No's:

Satin Black - 3B0 857 511 C 01C

Pearl Grey - 3B0 857 511 H Y20

Light Beige - 3B0 857 511 H 8YS

All are listed as £108+vat
