I've been waiting patiently for my Xbox 360 but looks like I'll be waiting for some time - I ordered mine in October, wonder where there that places me in the list ?

Sorry - Poll should have been multiple choice

I'll be waiting for a good while........

Until they are under £150

i was tempted to sell but kept it and glad I did... the most ardent ps2 fan i know was round (he is also a picky 4x4 estate loving whiny p.i.t.a) who wouldnt buy an Xbox for love nor money and absolutly swears by PS2 etc etc etc...

he was blown away by it... it is just so capable compared with the on line options of PS2 or PC which lets be honest are both pretty user unfriendly in this aspect... and nobody loves GTR on the PC more than me.......

BTW no prizes for guessing who it was.......

When I went into Tesco the other night, they had 6 x-box 360's on the shelf, must have been the release night I guess was about 5 past midnight, so knowing that there was all the hype surrounding them I bought all 6!!!

I sold 3 in the car park while I was loading them into the boot of my cab (@ £75 profit each) and the other 3 went to fellow cab drivers who wanted them as pressies for their kids for x-mas! (sold at cost price to them).

I only went in for a sandwich!!

There's no option for "Walked into Game on Monday and picked one off the shelf".

I'll probably end up with both - got PS2 and original XBox.

But according to reports I've read - the PS3 is going to be massively more expensive than the 360 - mainly down to the increased costs of producing such an advanced console, but Sony are going to have to be carefull if they don't price themselves out of the market.

Lets face it, they'll both be down to £99 before you know it, he who dares Rodders, he who dares.

It doesn't really matter wether you want one anyway -- unless your prepared to pay someone well over the on ebay -- you can't get em for love nor money

I bought my XBOX specifically to run XBMC (google it if you don't know what it is), I never play games on it at all as I play FPS games such as Half-Life which should always be played with a mouse IMO. I understand that the 360 has XBMC like abilities built in, but I'm put off by reports of them being a bit noisy.

So I guess I'll not be buying a 360 ever :)

Dave.

I had one on pre order but a week before release I cancelled it and gave my pc a well needed upgrade instead. I looked at the game available and could only see project gotham racing 3 as worth buying. The other half decent games are out on the pc and in some cases (call of duty 2) are better on the pc. Also with all the talk of units over heating and the fact that its bigger then the old one including the power box, I thought I might as well wait and get one later when theres some decent games to play.

I doubt I will get a ps3 though as I have already remortgaged the house once.
