Good afternoon from the North East Coast, I've just signed up as I'm probably going to be looking for an Octavia VRS TDI CR estate for the girlfriend in the near future, so will be looking for advice etc

 

I'm into cars but no mechanic, I've had a few VAG products in the past, 2 beetles ('74 & '71), a rusty bay, an '03 Leon TDi, a Skoda 1.8T 150 L&K estate, two VW T4s (I've one of these as my current daily), other cars owned have included a 309 Gti, a 306 GTi-6, a Subaru Legacy GT-B, a Jag XJR, two Mk1 MX5s (I've still one of these as a weekend/fun car), and an E36 328 touring. I've had a few bikes too for fun/trackday and 'Ring duties.

 

Life is now surfing year round and playing about on boats in the summer, we're looking to get some dogs next year and my girlfriend needs something bigger and more powerful for her 60 mile commute than her current 1.2 Corsa (known as the black slug), hence an Octavia being on the cards.
