starting issue solved

Featured Replies

had lots of problems with starting lately with my felicia which ive been narrowing down. checked alternator charging voltage was good, battery only 1 year old tested it, also good and i thought it must be something with the starter, i cleaned up every cable and earth points with a wire brush that connect to the starter, alternator and battery, it solved the issue of starting slowly in the morning especially, but there was still another issue. it was hard to start, like on the 3rd or 4th time it fires up but doesnt fire up smoothly, sort of roughly for first 3 seconds until finally the starter gave up and just clicked and didnt start no matter how much i whacked at it. i came up with decision to replace the starter because it wasnt worth it to repair as i already had replaced lots of stuff in it... and bought a brand new genuine starter. it fires up like a dream from the first turn of the key, the sound of starting is much much better than it was. my felicia is happy again :)
