312 discs, non-quattro, from any VAG group car with the same brake setup, yes they work well, define 'easy', I would describe it as a trivially easy mod but I'm very capable.

I geniunenly laughed out loud :P  your like the fabia José Mourinho

312mm from a 2wd platform. Octy mk1 vrs, golf gti, 2wd TT. You'll need the calipers, carriers, discs an pads. Will fit under the standard vrs alloys.

yeah, 17" alloys arnt needed for the 312mm upgrade, they fit under most 16" wheels.

As you can seee i dont know much about cars lol. Whats the best thing to clean the cailpers with ?

Brake cleaner and a brush if it's just dirt.

Wire brush if it's thick rust.

Brake cleaner?

standard brake lines fit?

Yes, tighter but still have clearance

Yes, tighter but still have clearance

its it better to use the bigger ones, and connect further up? lets say octavia line or are they the same :P ?

The 312 lines are slightly longer if you wanted to fit them.

They all connect at the same place so that doesn't matter.

It's your choice really, I've ran 3 sets with standard brake lines no problem, I'm sure many more on here have also.

312mm lines are longer but the location peg on the hose is in a different place.

Standard lines work just fine, fitted God knows how many.
