Yeti power mirrors

Featured Replies

Hi my yeti power mirrors have no power, and are stuck in the folded position I have tried to hold the open and close buttons down until the windows open/close, tried looking in the fuse box down by the steering wheel and the one by the battery under the bonnet, still can't find a fuse for it, am I missing a fuse box?

both sides are the same.

Do you have the ignition on?

Have you turned the rotary switch?

I am sure you know this but:

1. On the remote, the automatic mirrors only fold after the windows are all open and vice versa

2. They won't return to the open position until you turn the ignition key if you don't hold the remote OPEN long enough

Have you got the mirror switch in the fold position, move it to the O position

Yes ignition was on, yes I held the button long enough, I don't think the roterry button has the fold option, I will check when I return home I'm out at work in the Octavia at the moment.

If it does not have that fold option on the mirror switch it does not have power mirror fold.

In that case just pull them out by hand...

When I first got my car I didn't know if it had power folding mirrors or not because sitting in the drivers seat it's difficult to see the folding mirror symbol!

Have you had the car long and is this the first time you have folded the mirrors?

Well I have had the car since April it's the wife's every day car, I have driven the car hundreds of miles and never once noticed the fold option on the mirror knob, but to be fair there's loads of other stuff to play with to take my eye off the knob, I normally folded them with the key, anyways I had a play with the knob and they came away I think there may be a issue building for later.

My power mirrors never folded on the key (either of them) they do heat up

as do the seats thats good enough for me!

So have you got it sorted?

Was it the switch in the fold position?

Do they fold when turning the switch to the fold position and unfold when you turn it back to off with ignition on?

What is the issue building for later?

Do ALL your windows still have the "One Touch Function" working OK?

Urrell, might have to wait till Saturday for an answer .
