My steering seems to be extra heavy but sometimes seems very light, it seems like when it's heavy it doesn't pull away aswell as when it's light, when it's light it seems like it pulls much easier so wondering if this points to anything obvious, there's been no lights on or anything and passed an mot recently. The only other thing that I have noticed with the car is gear changes feel quite harsh when pushing or releasing the clutch but have no idea if this would be connected. Cars on just under 100k, 2006 Vrs tdi.

What I mean is is there something that when playing up would make the steering a bit heavy and also prevent it pulling away as it should?
