Best small android phone

Featured Replies

So I've finally found a tracker small enough for my doggie (and possibly the car/motorbike too). The only problem is at the moment the app is only on android at the moment, being a iPhone user I have little interest until now about androids. All I need it for is this one app, I wont even have a sim card in it, I'll just tether to my iPhone for data. Ideally I want something small and light with a reasonable screen that is responsive to touch. I dont want to spend a fortune but I dont mind spending a few quid on something that'll do the job.

Any ideas on what to look at?

Alcatel Pop C1 - £25 and vanilla Android 4.2.2?

Blimey that is cheap. My mate has messaged me, he has a spare android I can borrow for the time being. I shall have a nose about though, thank you!

Look on eBay. Brand called swees should do a very cheap android phone

That is cheap.

Got another one for you - Alcatel Pixi 3.5 currently £19 at Tesco.

Dual Core 1Ghz Android KitKat 4.4.2 4" screen.

I've had my Pop C1 for about a year now and can't fault it for a basic smart phone.

Daughter has a Vodafone branded "first 6".

£20 , dual core , 4" screen .  Runs very well for less than we spend on cheese.

No idea who actually makes it though.  Someone with very small hands I suspect.

Looking at the posts above, its crazy what you can get for little money.
