Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 110 5 Speed Manual Estate, in silver 2001/51. Runs and drives exactly as it should returning 50 mpg on the motorway. The turbo pulls nice and strong and the gearbox is nice and quiet with smooth gear changes. No clunks, knocks or nasty noises from the suspension or brakes. I have known the car for many years as i work with the two previous owners to myself. Has been well maintained over the years, in the last six months i have changed the brake discs and pads front and rear, drive shaft gator, ABS ring and carried out a service in November 2015 (oil change, oil filter, air filter). Fitted a Kenwood cd player and aftermarket speakers to replace the tired originals.Sailed through through MOT in December 2015. New cambelt and water pump @ 132K. Windscreen is chip/crack free, air conditioning blows nice and cold. Has a tow bar with twin electrics , electric windows/mirrors all working, interior in good condition no rips/tears in the seats or carpets, automatic headlights and wipers. Mileage is 160K however the clocks show 270k as these were changed whilst in the hands of the previous owner, this can be seen by looking through the old mot certificates it 'leaps' 110K in a single when the years leading upto the change and after showing an average 12,000 miles per year. There are a few age related marks on the bodywork as can be expected and two dents in the rear as show in the pictures. The central locking no longer works, but the individual door locks still lock and unlock just fine. I have been fair and honest in my description of the car and welcome any inspection or questions. Overall the car is in good condition mechanically and has been well maintained over the years and has plenty of life left to give.
