..yep! Just lets it breath a little easier esp. when you have the 160 intake fitted! Everything helps!:thumbup

Basically the PD160 intake gives a less restricted tunnel for the air to reach the airbox.

The green filter has a few benefits, mainly being more air allowed through, and it can be cleaned etc. Cleaning wise it appears to work well :)

Disadvantages are though that it is NOT a perfect fit (you'll have to stretch it ever so slightly to make it sit properly), it needs cleaning every 5k (I was told not to re-oil it at 5k, just hoover it etc, then at 10k use the cleaning kit). Other disadvantage IMHO is that when you have a strut brace fitted, it's a royal PITB to open the airbox.

IIRC some people here reverted back to the paper filter, and just replace that more often as it clogs up and that reduces airflow.

With a remap you'll definitely need more air going in too to prevent loads and loads of smoke.

I would say DONT reoil it until around 30k.

Just blow or hoover it every 10k then 30-40k wash it and reoil.

But it will help with the remap and smoke.
