Featured Replies

Has anyone with an SE fitted front and rear mud flaps?

I've got some to go on if i wanted but might put them on my other black vrs, just wanting to see if anyone has fitted them before :)

I have a set to go but I've realised my car is a bit too low for them lol.

So there is...

not sure on them now i've seen that then, the rear ones just look wierd! seem huge.. chavvy aftermarket rally style ones or somthing. pretty sure they are genuine thought, just the way they look on the car

They are not genuine on that one on E-Bay.

Genuine ones are not just a flat piece of material like those, they are hard plastic which is shaped to the bumper.

You do need to cut your bumper to fit genuine rear flaps on a VRS though, hence why the VRS is not listed as having rear flaps available :)

Here's mine. Was fitted by previous owner. Not sure if was a factory option or not. But he had everything done by skoda.

Yeah they are the genuine ones :)

I think if you've got front ones fitted they look like there is something missing if you don't have rears too.

I always do a half arsed job. forgot to take pics of front ones.

Ok... I'll fit them :D

The eBay one looked like the right ones to me, the pictures are rubbish I suppose and just assumed it looked rubbish :D

I've fitted them on a vrs before, a little bit of a chew but only takes a few minutes with a sharp blade :)

4 mudflaps look better than just the fronts....Rears flaps do SFA though, unless the cars behind benefit in some way.

Front flaps do a good job of stopping lurid streaks up the doors when driving wet, smaller roads or muddier roads.

I've got a set of these from my elegance, but i'm sure they're a different part when fitting to the VRS with the bumper change. Can anyone confirm? when i line them up they're nothing near how the rear bumper contours.

The rear ones from the elegance on the vrs?

You need to cut the L shape from the wheel arch where the bumper curves round if you know what I mean.

Mentioned earlier in this thread,if you can be bothered to read it.......

Yep them ones. I'll take a look. I think I know where u mean.

I've just fitted mine last night...genuine skoda ones (Front).  It says in the advert Doesn't fit vRS, but it was exact 100% fit.   The top clip was a bugger to press in, had to use big grips...(and sods law they slipped and made about 3 inch scratch on my front wing   ...but first bit I've touched up right away and is hidden behing the flap and the rest will buff off)

I wish they were fitted from new, not after 132k...I bet my sills would be in a way better shape.   Plus it looks right.... no need for the rears

Yeah fronts fit straight on,strange as mine were listed for a VRS.

It's the rears that are not a direct fit without taking a Stanley knife to your bumper! :)

And no,fronts only looks odd!! :D

Where can one get said front & rear mudflaps from?

Looked on the usual places but cant find them (not sure if i am being stupid or not).
