Noticed today that the drivers side wing mirror on my 2010 fabia doesnt fold in when moved manually (the passenger side will fold in easily with no force at all).

I was trying to be quite firm but was afraid of damaging the unit, & it wouldnt budge. Ive sprayed some Plusgas & WD40 down towards the hinge section so Ill have another go tomorrow.

 

Streets around here are really narrow so Ill need to fold the mirrors in when parking

 

The 30mm circular plastic blank that's underneath the hinge section - Ive pulled this out but couldnt see any fixings inside (I though that it may be adjustable in some way)?

I have a feeling you may have to lift the mirror housing at the same time as folding it inward.

Had mine car 3 years n ive never even tried :S lol
