These haven't been fitted for a while and weren't on the car for long when they were. They probably covered about 3000 miles at most. As you can see there in good condition. I'm looking for around £180 but I'm open to reasonable offers plus postage

Cheers Rob

Are these H&R Cup 55/40 Springs and Dampers?  How was the ride quality when they were fitted?

  • Author

Yeah these are those. The ride was a little firmer than standard but the handling was much improved

Can these be adjusted to 40/40?

  • Author

I suppose if you could find some 40mm front springs they could be.

Just realising my eyes have got too big for me as my car is the tdi, so I'm assuming yours won't do for mine??

  • Author

It depends what shockers you have fitted. I think these are the 55mm diameter strut

It's just bog standards on it....I'll speak with the Garage on Monday and if they it's a goer and you still have then I will probably take them.

How much would it lower the VRS by? 35mm?

  • Author

Yeah I think it's something like that on a vrs.

I'll pass on these pal. Not gonna work for my estate.

cheers

Price now reduced to £150.

Hi Rob, do you know if these would be suitable for the TSI estate?

  • Author

Hello there I've just had a look on the awesome gti website where I bought them from and it seems as though they will. Your welcome to double check the site for yourself though.

Ok that's great Rob I'll take those please. Will PM shortly.
