Nilfisk Washer Hose

Featured Replies

I've had a Nilfisk pressure washer for a few years now and find it to be generally very good.  My only gripe is the hose.  However carefully I straighten it out prior to use, it always seems to coil itself back up and refuses to lay straight.

I've decided that the only option is to buy a new one and have found this on Amazon;

Has anyone else had the same problem, are the newer Nilfisk hoses less prone to kinking or are there any alternative suppliers that I could try?

Thanks in advance.

There are plenty of threads on detailingworld regarding replacing Nilfisk hoses, the usual companies people use are either direct hoses or Q-washers. The hose reel on my Nilfisk drives me mad with kinking, I'll get round to ordering a rubber one before long.

Q-Washers on ebay. First class service. Have one of theirs on mine. Direct Hoses customer service gets poor reviews

Likewise on my Karcher K4. The green hose just coils up all the time and really gets on my nerves.

A 8-10 meter rubber hose is a purchase I'll be making shortly & hear that Q-Washers is the place to go.

The hose from amazon that you linked is the one that came as standard on the Nilfisk Titan i just bought. It is a good solid hose and will not 'kink' but it will not lie straight. Due to the type of material used it has a 'memory', so if you always keep it coiled when not in use you will struggle to get it to lie straight. If you have room to keep it straight or very loosely coiled it should be fine.
