So I'm James from Malvern. I just purchased an 2006 Octavia VRS in silver 95k. I've always being a Vauxhall man but always wanted a VRS...

So happy car is sweet as a nut.

My question is

Any common faults?

Stereo change best ones?

Subtle mods to do?

I'm only in Worcs so I'll keep n eye out for you! Tbh if you want to upgrade stereo then factory bolero or Columbus are good! My bolero kicks out a great sound and sound deading in the doors is good so you can enjoy ur music without upsetting ur neighbours

Yeah remap is on the cards for sure... Have just had the whole car cleaned and Valeted so some point soon have a major polish get rid swirl marks and stone chips.

Yah running a candy White mk 2 petrol myself n def need to get my mop out soon and give her a good wax n valet-had enough of winter muck now lol!

Normally find balero on here for good money plus they run an sd slot for uploading music/iPod etc

Oooo nice... Yeah I've not long had friend do mine and protect for Spring. So much dust on mine so quick wash on Monday yeah I know someone selling one but don't have the money's at the mo as just spent some money's on parts....

Well I've finally got round to starting a thread on my own modest build in octavia project section just as found some research a bit hard to come by on facts/figures when I started with this one so thought I'd stick my findings up for other peeps research for the future!
