Maxi Dot - next track / scroll

Featured Replies

Right.. this is bugging me now...

On the steering wheel we have next track button and also the "knurl / scroll" wheel.

When listening to USB or SD card, both these buttons do the same thing... ie change to next track.

The only way i have found to scroll to choose a track while the audio is playing without changing the track is on the head unit.

Surely this cant be right that 2 buttons do the same thing ?

I have tried pressing the knurl wheel which has no effect.

demo video below

Being able to use the scroll wheel to actually scroll through a list of songs would make sense if the Maxidot was able to display a list of songs, and this is not the case.

The list of songs is never transmitted from the HU to the instrument panel, only the "Now playing" information is. So the scroll wheel can only change the track and the Maxidot can only display the next song to be played.

Sorry to disappoint you, but this is the intended behaviour.
