Hi,

 

I am planning to retrofit Superb Steering wheel to my Octavia II Pre-FL L&K. My current steering controller is 1K0 953 549 AQ.

 

I will pickup Superb Steering Wheel, Airbag, Airbag connector and steering controller 1K0 953 549 CD.

 

Have few queries

 

1. Will this be direct swap or i will need to play with wiring and coding?

2. Do I also need stalks?

3. Can i use paddle shift from new steering wheel?

4. Will i be able to use all buttons mounted on new steering wheel?

5. Will my current MFD controls mounted on stalk work?

6. Do i also need slip ring?

 

Need your expert inputs and suggestion on the same.
