Quick Wheel Question(Sorry but brain is non functional ATM)

Featured Replies

OK, firstly apologies for the, quite possibly, previously asked question, however, I have had a search not found an exact answer. I have come across some Skoda Octavia (Zenith?) Alloys which I believe are 5x112 and in good nick. My plan was to put them on my Caddy. However I was wondering if I swapped them onto the Fabia, and put the VRs alloys on the caddy would it work.

I kind of understand most of the stuff about wheel sizes, such as wheel widths, offsets and such, but 100 to 112 and vice versa bit has always been a blind spot for me for some reason, is it the length of the required wheel bolts? Have you ever felt stupid?

If I understand correctly I would need adaptors to make the Zenith's fit the Fabia(?), but would the 5x100 VRs Wheels fit the 5x112 Caddy?

Thanks

Lennie

5 x 112 wheels will not fit the 5 x 100 found on the Fabia, your blind spot is that you don't understand the PCD measurement? PCD means you draw an imaginary circle through the centre of the wheel bolt holes and measure the diameter of that circle, Fabia has 5 bolt holes with a 100mm circle diameter, Caddy has 5 bolt holes with a 112mm circle diameter.

Edit - too late lol
