Skoda 3.6 rear diff vs haldex

Featured Replies

Hi maybe stupid question but

Does superb 2 4x4 has two different oils to be changed in rear side of the transfer case mean

1)haldex 4 oil in tube with 40k miles change interval

And

2)rear diff with separate oil capacity chamber.. different then haldex

Thx.

Went through the servicing specifications and there`s nothing about diff oil. Only DSG oil 5 liters and Haldex oil 1 liter every 60 000 kilometers (variable interval).

Diff oil has no interval but is seperate from the Haldex coupling.

Yes you can drain and replace.

from octavia 4x4 experience the diff oil is supposed to be life of car IIRC  I only had to change mine as the garage drained the wrong thing when trying to do the haldex oil change (didnt go there again)
