Can anyone help me please. When I plug in my iphone6 into my Fabia Monte Carlo Carplay is recognised. However Mirrorlink is not - is this because Carplay is now the default connection? No matter what I do I can't activate Mirrorlink in the menu, it's always greyed out. 

 

Carplay works fine but its fairly limited in the number of apps available at the moment, I was hoping to augment the selection with some additional apps via mirrorlink.

 

Can anyone tell me if this is expected behaviour (ie Carplay has taken the place of Mirrorlink) or do I need to do something so that I have the choice to use one or the other.

Carplay is the Apple product, so if you plug in an Apple phone it will use that.

Likewise Android auto for Android.

What apps are you after?

I'm sure Apple will add more apps given time. The interface is far better than Mirrorlink... and again should only improve.
