Speakers / sound system

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

Looking at buying a new Fabia either an SE or SEL, are the standard speakers any good? Would like to know your opinions

Thanks!

I have SEL - cant complain! nice bit of punch on the bass.

some sound critics might disagree but I have nothing negative to add. They're great.

on a side-note, the acoustic insulation isn't that great so most ppl on the pavement will be able to tell if you're secretly listening to Taylor Swift or not.... :)

I second that!!! :D I was listening the Bloodhound Gang quite loudly the other day and some people passing by started dancing to the music. WTH?! :D

Insulation could definitely be better :)

Thanks guys that's good to hear!

My previous car,a Mazda 6,had Bose speakers and my Fabia SE L is definitely on a par with those.Very happy with mine.

The virtual surround and is pretty good...but you don't get that on radio, just music from whatever source. To be honest, the system is at least as good as on my previous Volvo and doesn't go doolally if you crank it up. Plus, this is not a Bentley so there is a fair bit of extraneous noise to make fitting super-expensive speakers rather pointless. That's not a complaint, just an observation and I'm quite happy with the SE L system out of the box.
