Retro Consoles what are they worth?

Featured Replies

Something I'm looking to buy, and the guy selling them has asked to make offers but I haven't a clue what they're worth so I don't want to over price or feel cheeky by going too low. So what would you say they are worth?

  1. Super Nintendo -Boxed, 1 Controller, Street Fighter II Game & Manuals, & Power Supply
  2. Super Nitendo Control Deck - Boxed with TMNT gamex2 controllers, Manauals,
  3. N64 - Boxed, x1 Controller, Power Pack, Manual,
  4. Sega Megadrive, Boxed, x1 Controller and Power supply.
  5. ZX Spectrum, Boxed, Approx 30 game Cassettes, Power Supply, Joystick
  6. x2 Additional Controllers - x1 Sega Megadrive (boxed) & x1 N64

Generally, it's the games and accessories that make the price

What's he asking for the N64?

Don't even think about chris_1d :D that's the main one along with the Mega-drive I'm after.

Apparently he got an offer of £600, but then told me he thinks it wasn't a genuine offer, so i offered him £170 + p&p for both N64 and Megadrive his reply: too low mate. :|

id look at nvidia shield console & download the rom & emulators or the retro games

I've sent you a PM...I've got a few things here...N64, original XBox (Crystal edition), GameCube with donkey konga special edition...

I've got a snes, boxed, with super Mario

£170 for those two seems expensive as they aren't that rare. The big money is always with games rather than mainstream hardware. Just look on eBay for completed items, but I'd say 130ish for both is ok.

I sold my Megadrive collection for £500 but that was two boxed consoles and more than 100 games.

I might be interested in buying any Nintendo stuff people have for sale.

Well he asked for £200 + p&p for both Sega & N64, i said i'll leave it. seen them on ebay popping up like wild fire.

Megadrives seem to go for about £50-60 and N64 for about £70-80.

Not a lot really.

Lots around and plenty of people hopping on the bandwagon.

I've got a SNES and a Megadrive kicking around somewhere.

N64 with goldeneye, what more do you need! *now looking on ebay hahaha*

This... about 8-10yrs ago it went from a few people hilding into old consoles that were somewhat rare , mostly due to people not having the money to buy them when new, to everyone thinking their stuff is or will soon be worth a fortune as a collectors item.

I've a monster retro game & console collection i'm thinking of selling as well but not all of them are boxed.
