Big Insurance companies anticipating George's possible action and trying to recover the lost revenue before the implementation ?

That is the real cause of coming rises, I would seriously consider the rises now to be the past years and this year's weather related claims on Insurance Companies running into billions. But then the UK Treasury know that as do the general public and those insured or claiming for losses.

At £37 to my car insurance an I will not be best pleased! For the vRS that's almost a 25% increase!  

My motorbike renewal was over twice as expensive as last year!! looked on the comparison site and got a quote half the price of last years  with the insurer that just quoted me my renewal, over £120 difference??

It is incumbent on us all, as consumers, to chase prices every time at renewal. This is one of our most potent tools in keeping prices and service up to a standard.
