Is there any seals that supposed to go across the slam panel under the bonnet? Reason I ask is after washing the car there is lot of water collecting on the air box lid, fuel filter front the engine.

No. A seal would be fairly pointless given the big open hole at the front.

All my previous cars have big open holes in the front too but didn't have puddles in the engine bay.

I notice VW have seals so assume this is more cost cutting at Skoda.

There is a full bonnet seal on the Fabia, just a seal at the back on the O2 I think. Might be one on the underside of the bonnet though.

I have the one at the rear over the scuttle panel but nothing at the front on the slam panel or underneath the bonnet.
