Question re: Citigo PID

Featured Replies

Hi

My wife has just ordered a new Citigo SE L which includes a PID.

Can anyone advise if the PID is supplied with a carry case as standard? If not, any suggestions for one that may be suitable? I understand the PID is made by Garmin. Would any of their cases be suitable?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Phil

Not supplied with a carry case. Maybe Skoda sell something. Check out the Skoda accessories from Skoda uk website.

I bought the genuine Skoda carry case for mine last October. There was talk then of them being discontinued. Have a word with the parts department at your dealer when you collect the car.

if you are not bothered about branding then there are some new Mii and Up! cases for sale on eBay at the moment.

When you get the PID don't forget to register it with Garmin as this will entitle you to quarterly map updates for two years for £19.99. Download the Garmin Fresh application for Windows or OSX to update the PID firmware and maps using your PC.

I got an Up! One on ebay for £8.99. Would rather a Citigo branded one so If anyone has one they don't use........ :-)

I got told they are no longer available from Skoda.

I bought one for an UP! and have used it once, If I take my PID off I just put it in the cubby hole by the gear stick.

I don't take it off at work or at home, probably only gets taken off once a week

I use an old Sleeve case from a Sony PSP fits very well
