Is it possible to cancel a car order with a main dealer 4 weeks before it's supposed to arrive?

 

I understand that I may lose the £200 deposit but would that be all? No finance agreement has been signed yet.

 

Just wondered if anyone else has done this and what happened?

I have done it before now on a Factory Order due to late delivery. I actually got my deposit back and interest because the order T&C's were not based in law and the dealership broke them anyway so we're stuffed. You had best read the papers you signed on ordering the car and speak ASAP to the Dealer Principal not the salesperson.
