I seem to be unable to connect to the assignment servers to get the next WU to process, I have 4 pc's trying to get new ones but they are all stuck. Anyone else having the same?

Is the log file showing anything? Honestly say as long as my router is on I've never had anything similar. :confused:

Silly Q (from a numpty techie ) but the machines can access the net and other online resources OK can they?

had this before... a reboot of pc and router seemed to fix it.

Jason, pc's have no problem accessing the net. Indeed I am using one now. I had a look at the FAH forums and several members are having the same problem so looks like a server issue.

HTTP code 504 is a gateway timeout.

Probably due to a network problem between you and the servers at Stanford. Are you behind a firewall and/or proxy?

Checked the logs this morning, and the pc's finally made a connection at 9.30pm lastnight and folding has once again resumed.

Need some more people to resume too I reckon.

The total list of people in the league just topped 80.... Only just over 50% still doing it,

I have set my machine off folding again. Not sure its doing much though. Have it running as a service. I will be setting my pc to turn itself on in the morning once the missus has gone to work That way it can fold all day

well I have now got (for the xmas break) 22 AMD64 classroom PC's folding, and permanently the dual 64 / 3500 file server. Laptop is going and my desktop and I just found an ASUS with 1gb ram and a celery 2600 in the garage so that will be getting plugged in for folding also.

we are 198 by the looks of it now to, the work PC's have rattled off 3 work units so far
