Thought I'd jump on board to the forum as I plan on beginning my mod journey for my 11' RS dsg.

Car has only done 42000km, quite young. Had it for 4300km myself now. It's chewed a total of 1L of 5w40. Not to bad from what I understand. Though I am used to my old Infiniti G35 (vq35de) that never ate a drop despite daily thrashing. I did run royal purple XPR 10W40 race oil as the car was regularly tracked. (Put 200,000km on it.. Can't fault that motor)

I'd like to know the best mods for decreasing oil consumption and keeping the intake system crap free.

Granted the age and minimal kms traveled I would also like to preform a proper intake and throttle body clean to clear things up. Had a far bit of city driving it would seem.

It's driven painfully sensibly these days for the most part. But I do plan on getting the car retuned after intake and turbo back exhaust upgrades. So it'll see a day of fun lapping now and again.

A catch can kit is popular for preventing or at least slowing the carbon build up.
